Fránek Architects

This is a watch tower of a heart shaped layout or a leaf of small-leaved linden, the Czech national tree. This symbolism was chosen because it was designed for a tender of a watch tower for a significant place for the Czech nation.
The wooden tower with a spiral staircase is 14.5 metres high- It is covered with a heart-shaped roof. The facing is of stainless steel plate. The inside was lined with massive plywood reinforced in pressed cassettes. This inner facing is intended for being doodled and scribbled by tourists, as they usually do.
